The Colonel's
"It's The Great Pumpkin" Cake

1 yellow cake mix
1/2 cup oil
1 cup canned pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
4 eggs
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Mix all ingredients together well. Bake at 350 degrees in a greased and floured Bundt pan for 1 hour.

As you can see, there's no icing called for in this recipe. You could top it with powdered sugar or a cream cheese icing, if you like, but it's just as wonderful by itself!
Also, if you can resist, let this cake sit for a day.
You won't believe how moist and delicious it is,
and just perfect for Fall!
The Colonel used to make this cake for his high school calculus class. It's probably how he passed the course!
